Isn’t that all a girl needs when she is sick and has endured a fever of over 104 degrees? Emma is very sick. The doctor said that she might have pneumonia by the looks of her xray. : ( She has had a difficult weekend. We headed to the ER early Monday morning because she had not had a wet diaper in 12 hours. Emma, because of her reflux issues, doesn’t like to eat but when she’s sick, she doesn’t want to eat or drink. Keeping her hydrated is a major issue and she can really go down hill quickly when she doesn’t drink. Could you say a prayer for her? Also, she has had several very difficult months with eating…sometimes only having one good meal per week. We are using Pediasure and we are supplementing as much as we possibly can but she is still not gaining weight. And, she has now lost at least a pound or two from this illness. : ( Hopefully, she will be better ASAP and this illness will not be a setback for her. If I don’t blog for the rest of the week, it will be because I am taking care of my sweet girl!

Tera, I am praying for you & Jason & Emma in this very moment. I am so sorry. It is so scary. And so sad when our precious ones are sick and we cannot do anything to make them better. It is heartbreaking.

Tera...I am so sorry that Emma Grace is so sick. Ashton used to get fevers like that and scared the daylights out of me! He still gets really high fevers...and only wants Mommy. :( I hope that she feels better real soon!!! Hope you all are getting lots of rest!

Hi Tera, poor Emma. Cute picture with her daddy. Eddie is sick too and Renee took him to the Dr. I am trying to get him to hold a blanket for comfort. Take care and big hugs.
I hope by now the fever is gone and she's on her way back up to her normal cheery self. Fevers are so scary! I can't imagine how hard it is to deal with her only eating one good meal a week. Praying for y'all!

So sorry she isn't feeling well. We have the same issues with Katie and she too is coughing and running random fevers and hoping and praying it's not pneumonia AGAIN :-( Breaks your heart soooo much to have your little loved ones not feeling well. Praying for Emma's recovery.
